Join the team from Wellstone Action for a civic engagement field training on Friday, June 11. This one day training will be a great opportunity for non-profit organizations to write 2010 civic engagement plans on-site.
This training will be great for ANY organizational leaders and staff to attend. Here is the overview of the curriculum:
- Politics the Wellstone Way and Integrated Voter Engagement Framework
- Voter Engagement Campaign Planning Overview
- Field the Wellstone Way: Direct Voter Engagement Program Development
- Workshop: Developing a Direct Voter Engagement Plan, Timeline & Budget
- Workshop: Integrated Campaign Timeline Development
- Situational Leadership: Supervising Staff & Key Volunteers

OpEd Project Training

TRAINING IS FULL!
Join expert trainers from the Op-Ed project for a highly interactive, energetic, and results-oriented training session. The OpEd Project is an initiative to expand the range of voices we hear from in the world, with an immediate emphasis on enlarging the pool of women experts who are accessing (and accessible to) our nation’s key print and online forums. Participants should be prepared for a challenging experience. Please bring pen and paper. Please do not bring a laptop. Although the program is designed to result in participants producing and publishing op-eds, participants should be aware that this is not a writing workshop – most of the session will revolve around experiential exercises, scenarios, and dialogue, with only occasional short bursts of writing. The program treats op-ed as a metaphor for thought leadership, and as such will be of broad scope.
